This support group is for anyone who has had mental illness touch their lives. Consumers, family members, friends, and those who work as mental health care providers are all welcome.
Meetings feature support and sharing amongst those attending. There are also occasional speakers. Snacks and refreshments are also provided.
Our group meets the first and third Wednesday of each month.
Meetings are from 6:30 to 9:00 pm and are held at the Sunshine Clubhouse, 520 Crescent Ave, South Bend. .
The format of the Support Group meetings will be:
- 6:30-8:00 P.M. Separate support groups: one for consumers, one for family
members. In the last 15-20 minutes, if we need each other for
questions/answers, we can then meet together.
- 8:00-9:00 P.M.
- First Wednesday- Business Meeting
- Third Wednesday - Speaker or Education Piece

NAMI Connection is a weekly recovery support group for people living with mental illness in which people learn from each others? experiences, share coping strategies, and offer each other encouragement and understanding.
